Early breakfast, then transfer to Kinigi Park Headquarters for briefing at 7:00 am. Trek duration varies from 2 to 6 hours depending on gorilla location. Return to lodge for lunch and rest. After breakfast, enjoy an optional golden monkey trek in the bamboo forest, a shorter and easier activity compared to gorilla trekking. Alternatively, visit the Dian Fossey Tombs for those interested in conservation history. Later, check out of the lodge and begin the scenic drive back to Kigali, arriving in the afternoon. Depending on flight schedules, enjoy a farewell lunch in Kigali before airport transfer.
